Highlights from the Grade 12 Financial Services Certificate Programme Awards Ceremony
The Bahamas Institute of Financial Services held its 3rd annual Awards Ceremony for high school seniors who have completed the Financial Services Certificate Programme on Friday, April 1st, 2011 in the foyer of The Central Bank of The Bahamas, Market Street and Trinity Place, at 6:00 pm. |

Grade 12 Financial Services Certificate Programme |
The overall objective of the Programme is to equip a pool of young high school graduates with knowledge and skills needed for entry-level positions in the Financial Services Sector, such as banks, trusts, insurance, accounting, law etc. More specifically, the programme will achieve the following:
- Train students who show interest in a long-term career in the Financial Sector
- Stimulate students’ interest in the work environment.

The Bahamas Institute of Financial Services (BIFS) has partnered with the Financial Services Sector, The Ministry of Education and The Ministry of Finance, to better prepare grade 12 students for a career in the Financial Services Sector.

HOW DO I ENROLL IN THE PROGRAMME?
- You must presently be a grade 12 student to apply
- Have a grade point average of 2.5 and above
- Have obtained passes in Math and English B J C
- Complete the application form and return it to the Guidance Department of your school
