The word ‘Strategy’ denotes the art of devising or employing plans or stratagems towards achieving the organization’s goals and objectives.
In 1997 after the strategic merger of The Bankers Association and the Bahamas Institute of Bankers (now The Bahamas Institute of Financial Services) we assumed responsibility for organizing the Annual Week of Seminars.
The main focus of this week of open forum discussions is to bring together employees in the financial services industry, private sector organizations, government institutions and members of the wider community to address topics of interest affecting and impacting the financial services sectors.
We have once again been able to assemble a distinguished list of presenters from both the local and international arenas to address pertinent issues.
The topics were carefully selected with the intent of stimulating the appetite of participants, bearing in mind the industry’s ongoing mandate to create new opportunities that will keep The Bahamas competitive.
We extend an invitation to member institutions, associates, partners and all others in and around The Bahamas to come out and participate in what we expect to be a dynamic week of participative discussions.
